Stainless Steel Lag Bolts: A headed and externally threaded fastening device, designed for installation through holes in a fixture or part, with a gimlet point and coarse thread, to cut its won thread into wood. The lag is driven by its hex head, it is recommended to pre-drill. The lag bolt is made of 18-8 Stainless Steel for good corrosion resistance.
